The second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in Wellington Heights Community is the monthly association meeting. During Covid shut down the meetings were digital via zoom. The ultimate goal is to offer both digital and in-person to include the replay on our Youtube Channel.

Temporarily, meetings are moved to Westminster Presbyterian Church at 1285 3rd Ave SE during renovations of the Paul Engle Center bought by Wellington Heights Community Church which donates space to the neighborhood for the community gathering monthly.

Meetings will resume at WHCC once renovations are complete at 1600 4th Ave SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52403.

Exciting news, the WHNA board voted in October 2021 to have community meeting resources digitally on a permanent basis. Volunteers are currently working on improving tools for this.

The overarching goal is accessibility for neighbors who are homebound, working, or unable to attend with Live and replay options. Please be patient as we work to grow this connection option.

Elections take place during the annual meeting in February. In 2022 the meeting was held at the Westminster Church and digitally.

Wellington Heights Neighborhood Association holds its board meeting on the fourth Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. These are closed meetings unless otherwise noted.

If interested in learning more please ask during open comments at our community meeting and join the mailing list.
